In 2018, in the midst of Venezuela’s economic and social crisis, Mariam Diana, a young architect with big dreams and even bigger courage, decided to take a leap into the unknown.
At just 27 years old, with no savings, no business plan, and no idea how to price in dollars, she founded what would become DIANARQ Architecture & Interior Design — a remote studio built from scratch, with nothing but resilience, purpose, and creativity at its core.
It all began with a simple act of faith: creating a small profile on a freelancing platform. Weeks went by without a single project… until one day, a client from Australia appeared. That first order — a modest design for a home on the other side of the world — marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey.
Soon, recommendations spread, projects multiplied, and the vision expanded beyond borders. From a warm living room in Venezuela to a growing international team, DIANARQ evolved into a studio recognized for its human approach, design excellence, and global perspective.
Today, DIANARQ has completed over 700 international projects, bringing to life homes, commercial spaces, and interior experiences that blend functionality, beauty, and emotion.
